Skin Rejuvenation

Clinician-performed skin treatments: PiXel8-RF radiofrequency microneedling and medical-grade chemical peels.

Texture, tone, and firmness, approached through your skin's own collagen.

What Amy offers

What they are

Two clinician-performed approaches to skin texture and tone: one device, one solution. PiXel8-RF pairs fine microneedles with radiofrequency energy in a single treatment. Medical-grade chemical peels are clinician-applied solutions that exfoliate the outer layer of the skin. Different tools, same idea: rather than covering anything up, both are designed to work with the skin’s own renewal.

Amy Palacios, FNP, stands beside the PiXel8-RF cart in her medspa, one hand on the device console, beneath the Mobile Aesthetics neon sign.

How PiXel8-RF works

PiXel8-RF, from Rohrer Aesthetics, is an FDA-cleared device that combines two things in one pass. The microneedles create micro-channels in the skin’s surface; the 4 MHz radiofrequency energy travels through those needles and warms the deeper dermal layer, the layer where collagen and elastin are made. The combination is designed to prompt the skin’s own production of both.

It’s used where the concern is the appearance of skin laxity and crepiness, uneven tone and texture, acne scarring, or stretch marks, and it isn’t limited to the face. Neck, jawline, and body areas are all within its range, and the device is designed for all skin types and tones. Whether it’s the right tool for your skin is a consultation conversation.

Chemical peels

A chemical peel is the traditional idea, refined: a clinician-applied solution that exfoliates the outer layer of the skin, applied and monitored by Amy in the medspa. Peels start at $180, and they differ: in depth, in ingredients, in what they ask of your calendar afterward. Amy offers three:

Which peel suits your skin, and whether a peel or PiXel8-RF fits it better, is decided with Amy at a consultation.

A longer view

If the idea of building your skin’s own collagen appeals (gradual change, measured in months), PiXel8-RF shares that philosophy with another line Amy offers: biostimulators, from injectable Radiesse to PDO threads. The consultation is where the map gets drawn: one approach, a customized plan.

Have questions?

What is RF microneedling?

A treatment that pairs traditional microneedling (fine needles creating micro-channels in the skin) with radiofrequency energy that warms the deeper dermal layer. The combination is designed to prompt the skin's own collagen and elastin production.

How is PiXel8-RF different from regular microneedling?

Classic microneedling works mechanically at the surface. PiXel8-RF adds 4 MHz radiofrequency energy delivered through the needles themselves, reaching the deeper layer of skin where collagen is made. Whether that difference matters for your skin is a consultation conversation.

Does it hurt?

The skin is numbed before treatment, and comfort is part of how the visit is planned. Amy walks through exactly what to expect, including how the skin typically feels after.

How many treatments will I need?

That depends on your skin and your goals. It's planned individually with Amy, and adjusted along the way. The package is a way to buy, not a prescription: whether a single session or a package suits you is decided with Amy.

Which chemical peel is right for me?

Peels differ in depth and ingredients, and skin differs more. Amy matches the peel to your skin, or recommends a different approach entirely if that's the honest answer.

Can I book a skin-rejuvenation treatment directly?

Yes, absolutely! Book (opens in new tab) anytime for your convenience.
